Today I watched a group of elderly ladies sing old gospel hymns for about 45 minutes straight. It was beautiful!

i'm glad you are blogging again.

i spent the whole weekend with my wife. I am grateful for my wife, our relationship, and God providing her a new job where we can spend every weekend together.

I haven't been checking my blogs like I should, so I just saw your post, Chris.

Today I was thinking about how much my bags weigh. I always carry heavy things on my right shoulder so I have been trying to carry more on my left shoulder to even things out. I don't want to be lopsided!

So this morning our dog Lucy was in our bed. When Carrie got up, Lucy moved over to Carrie's side and spread out under the covers. She does the same thing when I get up, so it made me think: is our dog trying to replace us? Is she trying to eliminate one of us? Time will tell.
