My roommate, Austin, and I love coffee. Not because we’re trendy, we just really like it. My past two roommates were lame and didn’t drink coffee with me. Austin does. My other roommate, John, doesn’t like coffee but thats ok because he doesn’t have to, he’s that cool.
Austin and I have been trying out new types of coffee this year and like to get something new every time just so we can experience different varieties from different parts of the world. We take our coffee pretty seriously so, we don’t just half way do it, we whole way do it. I’d like to share with you our current coffee status via picture

In this picture you see two different coffee makers. Left (Austin’s) & Right (Mine). We like to provide 2 different types of coffee when people are over; one for the bold, one for the weak. In the middle there is an espresso maker & steamer (Mine). We like to make shots and froth our milk. Its really loud and takes a long time to make. Its worth it though. To the left and right of the espresso machine are my French-Vietnamese press and my Bodem French press, respectively. Both are good, but are used the least out of the 5.
Now to the coffee… (from left to right… don’t forget the one on top of the espresso machine) Columbia, Christmas Blend, Espresso Roast, Sumatra, & Anniversary Blend. We both like our coffees to be bold. Austin prefers more of an African flavor whereas I enjoy the earthiness of the Asian blends. We are fortunate to have been given the Christmas and Anniversary blends by different friends.
Just to clear things up we don’t use cream or sugar. We drink it black. We don’t like to interfere with the flavor that it already has. They need nothing added. We don’t want to sound arrogant, but we do.
excitedbigkev,I like to support local coffee shops and buy their beans but… everywhere where I live sucks, and thats the honest truth. I know people don’t like starbucks, but I really don’t think they’re as bad as people make them out to be.

Is there anything in particular you want from Starbucks for Christmas? If so, I’ll see what I can do.

forgive me if I am way off base, but I am taking a little tiny bit of credit for your love for coffee. Well, written. You have honored the bean. Texas Pecan is my favorite.
